You know what, I agree with this dude. I wouldn't know what it would be with the original four members, being born too late. But before I had any knowledge of Bri and Rog aka "Queen" doing anything, I was perfectly happy with the old 70's albums. But now, with all this "Queen +" whoever BS and all the Pepsi ads (even my dad thinks they've done a sell-out move), I think, and throw all the stones you want at me, they really have sold out, and tried to grab their last whiff of success with the musical, the Pepsi ads and so on and so forth.
I still do have some sort of respect for Bri and Rog as musicians, but maybe not as "Queen".

SOLD OUT
Ha ha all my mates at School thought Queen sold out when they released Sheer Heart Attack, Killer Queen was not heavey enough for them!
New music or new interpritations of old music is always welcome as far as I'm concerned. If you don't like it ignore it, its your choice and opinion and you are entitled to it as much as Brian & Roger are entitled to do what they want and see fit with Queen. You can't change history and they won't Queen will always be true legends!
Now hurry up with that NEW album guys!

Look, Queen's most recent attempts may not be up to their old standards, but come on- their old standards were ridiculously high- no one could top that, especially with Freddie gone!! At least they didn't replace him and limp along producing shoddy music and pretending that they were doing fine (like a lot of other well known groups)

Out here in the states, Queen has used "We Are The Champions" for a Viagra commercial, as well as "I'm In Love With My Car" for a Jaguar commercial. Personally, I have not seen the infamous Pepsi commercial, but I have downloaded the audio, and I think it sounds like shit. I agree with you, and I think that they have completely sold out. Maybe, they should endorse tampons or Preparation H next. They've just about made it there with the Viagra commercial.
Don't get me wrong, I adore Queen, and I love their music, I just think these promotional ideas are a bit insulting for the band.
As a wise man once said, "The things we do for money."

sold out! I think once you have made a million pound or over in wealth with your own written songs and having other poeple singing it, and that person is also a famous name then yes this is called sell outs,
while you mentioning Queen in that case feel free to mention Presley, maddona, beatles, Jackson, and thats only four.. what ever band you think are good no doubt some one is imitating them so well that, that imitator is goin to get recognise famously for that cover song, all good things comes to a sell out once they have made it unless you are devoted into hardcore grunge metal with your disciples of teenage black goths head banging in your own little world then yeah... them guys will never sell out lol! cant see robbie and any other squeeeks covering a slipknot
