The original MJK cover version was worse, in some aspects.
I'd prefer the post-2000 Queen re-recordings of this song to the MJK covers any day (yes, even including Brit/Pink/Beyonce's cover)

Having just checked it out I have to agree. On a scale of 1 to 10 this shite gets a -150 and thats being generous.
Actually, of all the "Stage Of Champions" covers, the only one I've liked is Adam's one. Nice one mate.

Thanks, Dave! Appreciated. Well, I recently started putting together a slight remix of the MLHBS cover I did 2 years ago. And because of your comments I've decided to remake it even better than planned.
However, it's a little painstaking at the mo cause I used to mix things in a bad way. I'd remove the original instruments and replace them with "fx-ed" versions (reverb, EQ added etc.).
So, I was shocked to go back and see that I don't actually have a session in CEPro with the normal parts saved together. Only fx-ed parts in the mix. But I did save ALL the original takes and have begun matching things up. Of course, this means I have to match the originals, to the sample, with the fx-ed ones. Shockin'...
Sorry, that's a lot of babbling there! Anyway, expect it sometime soon.
