I think you have to judge on what type of song they are singing, I think Axl is a good singer but could he sing any other song other than rock songs? Only certain singers can sing most anything, Freddie being one, and George Michael another. They are my top two. Don't know about the rest though...

What's all this anti-Robert Plant? On an average early day of Zeppelin, he'd out-do just about any of Freddie Mercury's best days.

Of course Michael Stipe from R.E.M I forgot him!
Stupid me!

the big deal with Nirvana is that they made a generation's anthem using three chords! brilliant. i don't really listen to them either BUT i do acknowledge the fact that they wrote something so simple and yet so catchy.

No prob, Dan ;)
Queenrocks!, will you marry me?
No, not really :) But it's rather rare that I find someone who can appreciate both Stipe and Meat Loaf.
Oh what the hell. Let's do my full 22. But before that, I have to go on Kurt Cobain Rant No. 658 in a series of five thousand. In reality, he had a kick-ass voice for his style of music, which also happens to be a style I love and appreciate. He did not have a classically good voice, but there's no denying the man could sing. Just listen to the Unplugged show.
Back on topic...

This is by no means a permanent list. It'll change in five minutes. If I were in the modd, Robert Plant might be on there.
