Actually I've used v1 for some time (downloaded) and I liked it so much that I bought v2 (expensive). I have to agree. the mixer feels a bit confusing. Hopefully it's because I'm not used to it. Anyway, it's to late to have any regrets now.... //Adam

Actually, I did used an old Shure SM58 for that. But I have changed to a better microphone now. (JJlabs BMC C08)

Regarding guitars, I use a Vox AC15 Cambridge amplifier. Gibson Les Paul and of course Burns "Red Special" (not on "Doin' Alright" though, I didn't own it at the time). I also use some amplifier simulators like Revalver and a lot of other things. Cheers, Adam

Wow, I have an SM58 and it doesn't sound that good.

Anyway, just one more thing - did you use the SM58 to mic your guitar amp or did you use a line out from some kind of simulator?

Well, I used the line out on the Vox AC-15 and ReValver Vox AC-30 2x12' speaker simulator. If I remember right, that is...

You're right about the discussion threads for recordings etc. I think this will suffice for now. I remember when there was a musician's forum and it was ok.
