I remember reading somewhere that every minute represented a year in the life of Queen, but you need to read pretty carefully into it (and take plenty of artistic licence too) for it to make sense, although you can make something out of it, if I remember rightly.
I like the song, listening to it as I go to sleep is good, but I know what you mean about that percussion bit, I still shit myself to this day....which takes some explaning.
