For me it's the lowest point in MIH. I don't hate it as a song but it's placed badly, completely ruins the mood of TMLWKY. I think it would have been better after IWBTLY.

I like all of the remixes of that song. Almost as much as the remixes of Living On My Own!

Not bad, catchy, but also not too great... Lower point of MIH album, apart from guitar solo, which is freaking awesome!

Sure YDFM has a whole different mood from the rest of the album, but it sure didn't ruin it.

Think about it, if YDFM wasn't included on the final recording of MIH, most fans would be complaining about why it wasn't put on the album.

I think it's a great track. Very cool that Queen did that one. Let's face it, it's better than most of the risky dance tracks that had come before from them! It's a great track for putting on at a party, too.

Peace,
Adam.

It's good, but because of the album it's put on, it's slightly depressing. Maybe it's just because Freddie's singing in a deeper voice, so it sounds kind of haunting.
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.

Glossimer, I agree with you. "Haunting" is probably the right word, but I always like to use the word "spooky". I get the same feeling during the first lines of The Show Must Go On and during the entire Innuendo song.
Not those are losers who fall, but those who don't stand up.

I think the low point of the album is My Life Has Been Saved, personally.

I like it, it's a bit boring, repetetive etc, but it works well, and the solo is wicked, and those harmonies at the beginning are lovely (and brilliantly re-used in Winter's Tale) so it wins my approval anyway.

What harmonies in MLHBS? Reused? Please do explain.

He is talking about the harmonies in the intro of You don't Fool Me, those have been reused in A Winters Tale (don't ask me why they did this, cause it sounds like shit)

Not particularly fond of it. Seems quite...irrelevant.

Looks like I'll have to listen to those songs a little closer so I can see what you mean! I'll go do that now! :D
