Posted this in the news-section two months ago. An official EMI statement... Look in there for further information ;-)

I'm assuming this is about the U.K. version card sleeves. Can't hurt to remind people as the time of release approaches :)

I'm happy with the Japanese versions. Got only 3 more to go, then perhaps even the 2nd version of MIH just so I'll have the lot.

I assume the U.K. versions won't have obi strips nor the recloseable plastic sleeves.

As far as I know the "UK" versions will just be the same as the Japanese versions. The shop I ordered them from last month told me that EMI would just import a lot of them from Japan, he assumed it would be with OBI's and stuff.

just noticed that these new UK issues have a diff catnr than the Jap ones. I compared them on the HMV site. For instance: Made In Heaven has TOCP-67350 and TOCP-67390 while HMV lists 0681995. Could be indeed a new limited run, which however means no obi's and stuff.

What happened to the rumoured overhaul of Queen's catalog? Wasn't Brian in the process of hunting down all sorts of studio rareties? The US Hollywood CDs are now 15 years old, and sorely in need of an upgrade.

I can see it now: hordes of Queen fans declaring bankruptcy because of too many reissues...

Well i checked out hmv and i find that the cd's cost £16.99 each which in total is going to be £290.00 for the whole lot.17 Titles to be exact. Can't think why they did'nt include Rocks or III.

But why was this started in japan and not in the uk. Now since this is happening on the 12th July don't you think that they will be geting rid of them damn reissue 1993-1994 versions or are they going to be reselled again?.

this July 12 release should be a limited run only, so once they are sold out, they are definitly sold out
