First Queen song I heard was Bohemian Rhapsody on the VH1 Legends program I saw when I was young. The video completely mesmerized me and the song had me asking everyone on the street if they had any Queen tapes.

I dare say 'Somebody to Love'. My dad was taking me to school and Somebody to Love came on the radio. He turns it down and says 'This guy died of AIDS'. I didn't think much of it then and I guess he doesn't either because the last 2 or so years he calls him a 'buck toothed bowel botswain'

Fair enough.

The first Queen song I ever heard was probably WWRY or WATC but the first Queen song I ever heard that I KNEW was Queen was probably Bo Rhap.

I think it must have been KYA on 'The Old Grey Whistle Test', but so many artistes were played on there it would be difficult to say exactly. The most dramatic was Bo Rhap - on my steam radio in a Fiat 128 one summer morning long, long time agos.

God Save The Queen was the first Queen song I ever heard, back in 1996 I think, when I was 8. My dad had been watching one of England's rugby matches on TV and then he said he loved Great Britain's national anthem and he wanted to listen to it again, so he played our old ANATO vynil. Then he listened to BoRhap saying this was a Beautiful song, though I thought it was real crap. The same I thought about Death On Two Legs and Love Of My Life, but I fell in love with
Seaside Rendezvous!... Next time I listened to the vynil again, when I was 15, I desperately fell in love with all of it (especially BoRhap).

Wow - I'm amazed at all of the "from the beginning" Queen fans like myself!
It doesn't really matter how long ago one heard their first Queen song -- it matters that it was NOTICED! Hearing Keep Yourself Alive for the first time had me wanting to hear it more than once, and to check out the face behind that voice! (I was more than pleasantly surprised!) My dad got a promo copy of Queen I and I promptly played it over and over and over. With each Queen album, this process was repeated...and to this day it still is!

"We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions," but in relation to sports and stuff. However, "Bohemian Rhapsody" was the first one I heard that I knew was Queen. I actually didn't like it at first- it was the Galileo part, and it freaked me out. I love it now, of course. Also, the song "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane scared me the first time I heard it, but then I became obsessed with it.

I think it was "Friends will be Friends"
, because in 1989 (here in argentina) there was a tv program called "amigos son los amigos" (in english "friends are friends"), and, obviously, the soundtrack of that tv program was that song

The first Queen song I heard was Another One Bites the Dust, on a cassette tape that belonged to my friend's parents when I was about 4 or 5 years old. My friend's older brother told us that the band that made the song was named "Queen," which we all thought was quite hilarious at the time.

I didn't really appriciate Queen until I got one of those ESPN Jock Jams albums with WWRY and WATC on it, and I couldn't stop listening ever since.
