I think the first Queen song I ever heard was We Will Rock You. I instatntly loved it, but was too young to fully appreciate it. It wasn't until I was 15 and heard my first Queen album that I rediscovered many of their songs.

The first song (and video) I've heard (and seen) was Another One Bites The Dust. It was on MTV a lot in the early 90's and at an age no older than four, I got my first taste of a true showman and band. One of the biggest highlights of my youth

Well, my first Queen song was Flash, and the entire soundtrack when my father took us to an autocinema to watch Flash Gordon, the movie, so in that time (about 8 or 9 years old, maybe) I didn´t know it was Queen.

Later a friend from the school let me copy the Greatest Hits I and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra playing Queen. Those cassettes change my musical life forever.

Mine was I Want To Break Free. I was four I think, and saw the video on TV. Totally fell in love with the song, and thought the video was hilarious:))) I remember asking my dad why are these ladies so ugly, and he laughed and told me they are no ladies, but men. I adore them ever since.
Give me a good guitar, and you can say that my hair's a disgrace, oh, just find me an open car - I'll make the speed of light out of this place...

I think its probably Flash, when I watched the film with my Dad at the cinema. Loved the film and loved the throbbing start of Flash.

Probably Queen's only 'children's song' as in Yellow Submarine is a children's song.
Guess who's back?

When I was a year of seven maybe eight, my (older) friends sang I Want To Break Free. That was the first time I was confronted with Queen.

"Seven Seas Of Rhye" on radio and it completely changed my view on music. The harmonies and everything... A few years later (1976)I moved to a new place. A neighbour living on the other side of the street where of the same age, so we started talking and realized we both LOVED Queen. We have been close friends ever since and we still love Queen.
