Who Could Play Freddie Mercury in a Movie?

Paddy Considine could play Jim Hutton.

Also, I don't think we should get too hung up on perfect physical resemblances. We're talking about ACTORS after all; they can act it.

Of course, we could do nontraditional casting and Freddie could be played by Cher. :)

Wow! I have never noticed the similarities between the two....but they are both good looking..so why not!

I was kind of joking by mentioning Cher and crossgender casting, but there's no need to be so harsh about her. I think she's a good actress and a great performer, and she's got that charismatic star quality about her that whoever played Freddie would have to have (or be able to fake). And "Believe" was a great song.

I think John Cusack, while a good actor, is too uptight.

You know what would be brilliant? If you could talk Tom Cruise into doing it.
