I think Johnny Depp would do a better job than Eric McCormack. Will and Grace is a really funny show though...

Eric McCormack doesn't really look like Freddie, so I agree, Johnny Depp would be a better choice if a movie was ever made.
I REALLY love biopics. "Lady Sings the Blues" was really great.
my husband is in firm belief that jim carrey would make the best freddie, and that could be interesting because he certainly has the energy, but johnny depp has more of the sex appeal.
Yeah. Johnny Depp would be good. Jim Carrey? hmm.........

NOT Jim Carrey. Definetely NOT.
Um, I know this might sound weird and idiotic, but i had a picture of Freddie Mercury on my desktop, and a driend of mine came over, and he pointed to him and said, 'that looks like adam sandler'. i was like, no way, but after awhile i looked at him, and adam sandler does kinda have a crooked nose, and when he did opera man on SNL, he sorta looked like a rough sketch of freddie. maybe if sandler put off on the comedy, he could be a pretty decent freddie mercury.

omg thats soo uncanny!he gets my vote! but wouldnt even johnny have trouble getting round freddies accent?
I think his accent would be hard for any actor if they werent already english or british.

He's managed to sound scarily like Shrek in Finding Neverland.
Me - iwould be perfect for the role
I can play Freddie, gathered I'd have to tape my boobies and cut my long hair and put a fake mustache on but I think I would be able to do it. I'd have to lipsynch though kind of Britney Spears-style.
LOL!!!
LOL!!!
I think Nicolas Cage (see him with the mustache in the Face Off movie intro)
Dominic Monaghan could be, well, John Deacon was better looking than Dominic Monaghan. Hmmm.

I had a dream where I was hanging out with Queen and John was inexplicably replaced by Dom Monaghan. WEIRD!
Geoffrey Rush could play Brian. Just stick a wig on him and Robert's your fathers brother! Or vice versa.
