"I'm not afraid to speak out and say the things I want and do the things I want,so um,I think in the end that being natural and quite genuine is what wins." Freddie Mercury
My favorite Freddie quote is kinda dumb, and kinda obscure. It's from one of the Argentina concerts in '81, before Save Me. He says: "This one features Brian May at the piano, or pianola, or whatever you guys call it!" Funny stuff!

He had so many great one-liners, both in interviews and in concerts. He was really an original.

Oh, wait... I cannot forget the Rock in Rio interviews where he has to answer a question in English, then the interviewer has to read the question again in Portuguese, for some reason.
Freddie provided a treasure's worth of one liners in that clip! The first one is: "And I already told you about that." Then of course, his famous: "This time, yes, I am the leader of the group!" Oh my lord, that was a priceless clip.

The last words Freddie ever spoke. In true Freddie style, they left us with a smile.
"The bigger the better! In everything my dear..."
"The bigger, the better. In everything, my dear..."
I'm still not sure if he said this, but that's my favourite:

"I do everything with everyone"
Not those are losers who fall, but those who don't stand up.
"I'm a bitch. I enjoy being surrounded by bitches. Boredom is the biggest desease in the world, darlin'. Sometimes I think there must be more to life than rushing round the world like a mad thing getting bored."

This one is my fave. Absoulutely the best, and so Freddie-like.:)
Give me a good guitar, and you can say that my hair's a disgrace, oh, just find me an open car - I'll make the speed of light out of this place...

For me these last words represents sadness and pain.

my favorite Freddie quote: "Oh Dear, the one thing I really hate are people on an internet noticeboard telling their favorite Freddie Mercury quotes. When I see those people I tell 'em to sod off and make up their own quotes" (~Freddie Mercury)
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)

You forgot the "Oh Dear" at the start and the "Darlings" at the end.
oops, ill edit
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)
My signature.
Freddie about Roger 'Trouser Snake' Taylor: "A nice guy, but dont ever let him show you his home videos...the dirty little sod."
Mine was my former "signature":
"...I'm just a musical prostitute, my dear!"
And the second:
"My music is disposable pop -- one listen and then toss it away."
Thank God he was wrong about that one!
Quite a few females used that 'musical prostitute' line a while ago. Wonder what happened to them.

I've always liked the one in my profile. The first time I heard it in The Magic Years documentary, I wrote it down and put it on my wall.

I also liked when Freddie said something along the lines of, "Do you like my outfit? They're real diamonds. A gift from the devil himself. You don't believe me? They don't believe me!"
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.
