What would the world be like without Queen?

I think it would be boring and rock music would be crap until The Darkness came along.

I don't think there would be The Darkness, if there were no Queen in the world. :P

I agree that the music world would suck without Queen...and I also think that The Darkness would most likely not be here,because their music is very much Queen influenced

The Darkness are influenced far more musically by Thin Lizzy than Queen anyway. As far as being a showman, Justin is equal parts Freddie and Rob Halford, which I guess if you are going to copy off of frontmen, you could pick worse!

I can't even imagine it. I wouldn't be listening to any of the music I listen to, because Queen got me into all the music I listen to. I'd probably still be listening to Top 40 crap...

How? Because Dan Hawkins wheres a Thin Lizzy shirt all the time. He might be but world without Queen = world without Darkness (as they are now anyway). Justin said it himself on a breakfast show called 'RI:SE' in the U.k. When asked who were you influenced by mainly and Justin said Queen and King (some 80's band). Don't know whether he was joking. But Ed (the drummer) was wearing a Queen t-shirt that day. And when the presenter said your wearing a Queen shirt aswell he just replied ye, i am.
