But I remember the time when I posted about the Red Special being in St Bart's Hospital for an x-ray, and then the next day Brian 'answered' my post on his Soapbox!

His post seemingly wasn't in response to anyone's email to him, so if he's not reading these boards from time-to-time, it looks like he at least might have people that keep him informed of some of the things that we're talking about here.
