Well-intentioned advise, Lisa, yes, and others would do well to consider this argument before they decide. (Not all furniture fades, but I won't quibble.) But as for me, I cannot leave such a lovely package in a cardboard box in a dusty closet - I have to have it out or it's just like I don't own it.

It's mine. I would never entertain offers to sell it, that's not why I bought it. It's here for the long haul (meaning, until I die and fall breathless to the floor). What the hell do I care about whether it's in perfect like new condition for its next owner? It's ALL ABOUT MEEEEEE!!!!!

Then display it in the glass case. It's fairly screaming for a place of honour in your living room!!
(My Freddie plates are on the same wall with my Beatles ones -- looks so fab!)

it's definately worth every penny!
Bought my copy in 2000 and i didn't listen to anything else the first 2 weeks or so. My fave discs are the Rarities and the DVD's of course!
We love you Mandy!

I still say it's one of the best things I've ever bought. I wish I'd been able to afford it at full price when it came out in 2000 but couldn't then.
But two years later I could, thanks to Ebay! A friend of mine recently won one off Ebay for $157 US dollars (it's an NTSC, Region 1 set) and it's in transit from the UK. I remember how the waiting was the hardest part -- but afterwards it was so worth it!!

I have the FM Solo Collection including Mr. Bad Guy,Barcelona, and bonus CD. I look forward to someday soon having the full Collection. Is it still available to purchase from Queenonline.com?

Yes, I have it and love it - first time I played those outtakes and things, I was crying - I felt like I was there listening to them recording Barcelona - they are lovely and were good value for money and well presented. Very nice, I hope the queen anthology/boxed set one day when it appears, will be presented the same - would make a handsome collection.

Isn't it great?? :-))
I hope the Queen Anthology has something similar in packaging. I still can't get over the care that was put into producing the FM boxset, simply put: the best one I've ever seen! And I have a lot of boxsets by other artists, but this one is IT! Nothing can beat it in quality and quantity.

I got mine from Ebay too. It was $180 including shipping. Love it! My best purchase so far. Barcelona session and Untold story are my favorites.

Bought mine the day it was released in Holland. Costed me 450 guilders (€200) at the time. Quite a lot of money..but really worth it!

What a great boxset!!

Yes I have it. I paid 99.00 dollars for it when it was first released. And it definitely was worth every penny.

I have wanted the complete 10 CD 2 DVD 120 page book for some time now.
I am dying to see & hear the Interviews with Freddie disc,
as well as the Untold Story disc,
as well as all of the alternates, demos, works in progress, basic & scratch take tracks, etc.

1) Not available in USA (just the crap WAY edited 3 CD set) or in NTSC whatever it's called.
2) I can't afford $120 some dollars..least not right now.

One day hopefully...

I got my box set on the day it was released in a multi media store in Germany. I payed 90 Euro for it which was incredibly cheap. I just watched the untold story again yesterday it always brings tears to my eyes. Just too touching. I love the box since it finally gave us the chance to see the evolution of the various stages of songs. barcelona sessions are just fabulous and so is...
I could go on for hours. Can't wait for the Queen box sets.

I own the box and the "Guide me Home" single which includes the trailer of "The Untold Story". Don't know what a paid for them... Around the 180,- euro I think. But it's a masterpiece, it's worth it.
