We have 2 copies. When we ordered the first, one of the discs was a little scratched. Instead of having us send back the one disc for replacement, they just sent us a whole other box set.

Benn - I still have most of that material - I HAD diligently collected it. My point was that although *some* collectors had Mr Bad Guy on CD, it was long out of print and commonly valued around £100, making it inaccessible to *most* people.

When was it valued for that much? In the late-90s?

I ask because I bought two copies of it in 91-92, one for $10 and the other for $3.

14 track CD? That's good going.

This was accurate at the time.

I got the box set about 3/4 years ago, i had been looking at it in Tower records for so long and couldn't afford it but thank god by the time my birthday came around they still had it and it was the best present i've ever gotten i wouldn't sell it for anything...It's just so amazing to hear the rarities and the pictures are brilliant-how cute was freddie when he was a baby xx

I own the massivce collection! It is nothing short of the absolute BEST packaging ever done for any box set period!!!

Which ones are you comparing it to?

I thought the first Metallica Live SHit box was well done, as was the Alien box set shaped like a facehugger.

Plus I think the Cramps had a coffin shaped box set.

Live Shit was indeed nicely done!

About the Solo Collection... Nice, I'd lov eto get a Queen one done so beautifuly... I never liked Mr Bad Guy and out takes didn't change it... :) But I'd rather pay another 100 pounds or so for a 70s Queen Box Set of taht size than get a 2 x CD set of each album with bonus material... But that's just me...
