I've seen some topics about albums.
But, what about the ones who were at the starting point of the Queen phenomenon?

What abouth them? Queen II is possibly the greatest album ever made. It was during this and subsequent five albums that Brian and Fred were really battling for song-writing supremacy.
Queen (first album) is great but not as good as the albums QII through Jazz.

Brandon, I totally agree with you!
All albums up till Jazz are undisputable.

If I only could pick a few albums to listen to for the rest of my life it would be them.

Queen II rultz! Nevermore really touched my heart.
Anyway, I'm pretty fond of My Fairy King on Queen I. And on Queen II all the songs.
I might say QII is my favourite album.

Ye they are both great. Doin' Alright is a brilliant song. So underrated.

I love both albums but Queen II really started the phenomenon of Queen. I love March Of The Black Queen

I love them both. When I first got the Crown Jewels collection, having never heard anything from Queen but their Greatest Hits CDs, I hated Queen and Queen II! I put on Queen II once because I read the lyrics in the booklet for Funny How Love Is.

Now, they're both two of my favorites, although I don't care for Funny How Love Is...

The only thing I don't like about Queen I is that it sounds a bit rushed to me. Because they didn't got a lot of quality studio time. I'm sure if Queen I would've been their second album it would've sounded much better, and probably more like Queen II with all the complex vocal and guitar harmonies

I dig Queen II like hell. It's probably my favourite of all their albums. The Black side is just pretty much perfect. Some of my absolute favourite Queen songs on there.
And I do really like the first alb, too. It's not so much of the 'Queen sound' per se, but 'tis very good, all the same. My Fairy King being my favourite song from that album...
