Queen 1 & Queen 2 must be the two most overrated albums by fans of a band ever!
Some Day, One Day, Nevermore, Funny How Love Is are some of the worst songs in the entire Queen catalogue. Queen 1 doesn't have any "super song", just good and ok songs.

*bursts into uncontrollable floods of tears* But... but... but I love Nevermore. :'(
Even if it does remind me of Gold by Spandau Ballet *shudders*.
Where it goes "When you say you didn't love me anymore"... for some reason that makes me think of "Luck has left me standing so tall". Even though they aren't all that similar...

I love both of those albums. My favorite songs from Queen are, "Keep Yourself Alive," and "Liar."
My favorite songs from Queen II are, "Ogre Battle," and "The March of the Black Queen." I love listening to how much their music matured from the first album all the way through to Inneundo. It's amazing.

Both albums are classic but Queen II is my all time favorite...side white to Black....the one that really hooked me and turned me onto the true virtuosity that is Queen!

I would actually have to say that Queen1 is my favorite album

They both have a story to tell. I think Q1 is closer to traditional ways of thinking and religion, and Queen II relates the real life and what can happen if you do it all wrong.
Perhaps people don't enjoy them because they are not so easy to understand like other stuff...
