And for a moment, I thought, "Awwww, Archie does have a soft side."
Thanks for ruining one of the best moments of my life, man ;)

It started off in a very fun way. Then confronted with images of his escapades, I realised that you have to be ok with this life he led, to go forward. I was...
There was a definite fun tone throughout with real people. Some great new pictures that I've never seen. And like someone else said, a great home video with Freddie having a laugh. Good stuff.
I think this isn't one for the casual fans. You have to at least acknowledge that this was a big part of his life. For the most part, it was all good fun and nothing trashy, imo. And to be honest, I'm glad to see "the real Freddie" as Straker put it.
Off the review now...when I taped the second part something went wrong and it didn't work. I have parts 1, 3 and 4. Could someone please post the second part of the show on the hub in the best quality please?
Peace,
Adam.

That programme was dreadful. I suppose i was expecting it to be more "Queen". Need to study my Milton Keynes video though for evidence of injury to Freddie's hand. And what was the appalling background music? Still, we all know that the appeal of Queen lies in the collective skill of the band rather than Freddie's sexuality.
3 out of 10 (only because we saw Trip)

I think the background music was because it wasn't endorsed by Queen and so they couldn't use the tracks (the ones they did show were BBC footage like from TOTP...).
I thought it was enjoyable, I was pleased they didn't linger on Freddie's death at all - just saying 'and then he was dead'.
I had never seen Thor before, but wasn't he the one who slept around with everyone and supposedly gave Freddie AIDS?

It's quite speculative.... I think it's almost impossible to say who 100% sure gave Freddie the disease...
Rumours have said :
Joe Murphy (a friend of Thor)
Another possible might be Vince the barman... Many people is in the picture....
Is it said that he contracted it in the US, that might be not either....
Hard to say !

Harder to care. I didn't watch this, as I couldn't see the interest. If he'd been hetero, would they still have made the programme?
Why not do a programme on the Runaways? they went like barn doors in a gale, and lived, plus they were women in a male world.

That Eric Hall is a twat. (sorry had to get it out of my system)

Freddie wrote Killer Queen about Eric Hall! Come on do me a favour! I did find some of this interesting but all these people claiming this song was about them and that song was about the other was in my opinion total bollocks!
Freddie lived in a world which I'm afraid I will never understand but then again the guy was a genius something which I could never claim to be!

Yes... it was worth watching just for those.
also the pic of Freddie at Garden Lodge (taken by Jim Hutton) was in colour - the first time i've seen it in colour.

Yeah, I couldn't take Eric Hall seriously! But I do remember that some merely offered their own opinions on things. It'll be interesting to see what comes up next month with the BoRhap docu.
