Why is "Mercury and Me" so expensive???
Probably because it's out of print. Look for it on Ebay; I got it for $15 a few months ago, but it's a paperback.
Maybe it was a sort of closure to him to be able to tell about the love of his life.
Hey this is going to be a very stupid question, but it really boggles my mind. Do you think Freddie was Jim's love of his life? Doyou think he really loved him? Or does he still love him despite all these years?
And what about Freddie? Did he love Jim indeed or was it just... I don't know, just physical attraction between them?
Weeell... when I said it was a stupid question, I didn't mean I didn't want to get an answer to it, btw. There have been 24 h since I asked this and still, there's no reply to the question.
Or is it so stupid indeed that nobody wants to answer?! :)

I would say a big YES to all of them

Wow! That sounds beautiful... Thanks for the answer! I haven't read the book, not because I didn't want to, but because I wasn't able to find it where I live (in Romania). The only book about Freddie you could find out here is Rick Sky's (which obviously I bought and I read immediately).
However, I tend to think that Jim's book is very interesting, since it's written by somebody who knew him well and who loved him. It's a shame I can't find it!!! Have you read "Me and Mercury"? If yes, did you like it? Can you please tell me more about it?
