they would meet at 15.19 providing they were both travlling at a speed of 60mph as allowed on american railways and the meeting place would be just outside of Bay City, Michigan

was 75 the first time you heard it? i think my first memory of it was around 1991/92 when i was 3/4. but it's been in my head forever

The first time I heard it, I thought it was incredibly long. (That was before hearing Free Bird live. Now that's long.) The second time, I listened to it more carefully, and realized just how good it was.

Freebird live at Woodstock - Wow, I couldnt take my eveys off the TV first time I saw that! Anyway, Bo Rhap, I thought it was weird.

A friend of mine played it for me in 1991. The only thing I remember is that I asked about three or four times: "And this is still the same song??" But it had to grow on me. I did not particulary like it the first time I heard it. By now, I've listened to it too much.

Seeing as I was about 2/3(1991-92), I could not connect the first part to the "I see a little shillouetto of a man...". I just couldn't fathom that they were the same song. Plus, I thought that the latter part must be a choir of women. I just had no clue.
