For those who haven't seen it, here you can find the interactions between Queen and The Simpsons:

(very, very interesting)

But the point is that somewhere in this page, says: 'Did you also know that in one episode of "The Simpsons" you can see Homer´s Queen-poster from "A Night At The Opera"?'

Which is that episode???

Thanks in advance.
Not sure exactly what episode...but it's one that Homer's thinking back in time and he's on this chair (bean bag I think) collapsed and right behind him is this Queen poster... I've seen in on the internet. Probably only a few days ago, I believe.
It's the one where Marge makes him give up beer for a month. The song goes
"When I was Seventeen
I drank some very good beer
I drank some very good beer
I bought it with a fake ID.
My name was Brian McGee
I stayed up listening to Queen (cue young Homer slumped in a beanbag with ANATO poster on the wall)
When I was seventeen"
When life hands you lemons, add vodka.
Yep, that's the one. Homer gives up the amber liquid.

Then Brian kills Apu and works at the Kwik-e-Mart. Well not really but it'd be a good idea.
...this kettle is boiling over... ...one dump...one turd...two tits...John Deacon... ...one prawn...one shrimp...one clam...one chicken!
Fast reply!

This has all the information about that episode you could ever want...and probably quite a bit you don't really need.

a Queen poster was featured in the Movie Private Parts during Stern's scene in WRNW..

I've seen an episode with "you're my best friend" in it.

another episode has homer singing "we are the champions" to himself.
Freddie: "Yes, we'll have a great big cock fly over the crowd!" Roadies: "Yeah! Great Idea!" Freddie: "And it will fly into a great big mouth with a moustache!"
Too bad it's probably too late to have Brian, Roger, or both on the Simpsons.

Though really, you never know. With that rock and roll fantasy camp episode, looks like they're prone to a little nostaligia.
God wants you to send me some money. "Seven spades doubled, vulnerable, making seven? You BITCH."

That was probably one of the worst episodes ever.

They should stop bringing so many celebrity guests on the show.

I still haven't seen that friggin ep'! Grrr but I can't wait to get the season 4 box set cos then I can finally watch it.....yay!

I have seen the ep with you're my best friend and the general sherman episode when he sings we are the champions and the ep where the kids get the curfew and homer, carl, lenny and barney sing WATC then merge in to WWRY....whilst in the kids showers.
"Take me to the room where the reds all red take me outta my head, that's what I said"
Homer was 17 in 1971 or 1972 - the episodes give 2 different years of birth. So he was a fan right from the very beginning.
Live life to the full!
i was just watching the simpsons and they had "best friend" playing.
