Queen in The Simpsons

(Wow I can't believe no one has ever done this.... :)

I work at a Fox affiliate so tonight I brought the Simpsons tape home, ripped the "When I Was 17" part as a VCD-quality MPEG and just put it on the hub under my name "emeraldbar". (If anyone wants to torrent it feel free...I've heard the hub isn't accepting new members. The file is 6.5 megs.) Also I put a still-image of Homer and the Queen poster on the hub and here:

Anyone know which episodes those other two songs were in? If so I could rip those too. I think the "You're My Best Friend" one was just in the last year....

In one episode (I'm still trying to find out which) his birthdate is the 05-10-1955. So he turned 17 in 1972. On the other hand he is said to be Taurus but that date would be Libra :-)

In series 04 episode 75 - 'Duffless'

On his driving license (#C4043243) it says:

12.05.1956 that's Taurus but would not lead to A Night At The Opera...

But what you have to understand is, He always drinks.. so he has fried his mind.. so he may have THOUGHT he was 17 when he was indeed 20 or 21.. so.. there you go.. Alcohol HAS a funny way of doing that..

in the new simpson episode aired on 15th february 2015. moe asked a guy: you're the head inspector, huh?
inspector: yes i am.
moe: how come, on your badge, you got a mustache, but now you're not wearing one, huh?
inspector: oh, i was freddie mercury in a queen cover band, but, uh, then i got demoted to brian may.

Have you thought of taking up archaeology?

well, of course you all know that Homer's been in a coma for the last 20 years, and everything's just taking place in his mind........(seriously, this was a theory someone came up with!)

Oh wait.......I googled it, and their executive producer shot the theory down recently.............

Yes I watched that episode yesterday not knowing it features that reference! Great surprise!
