100% agree. Leroy Brown is good too. Most of Queen songs had good basslines. For those of you who just listen to the song as a whole, shut yourself off from the rest of the song and just listen to the bass. John was a fantastic bassist.
Probably The Night Comes Down, although I seldom give much thought to bass lines.

I'll probably get crucified for this but I really like the bassline of Staying Power. Reason being: the song is actually Freddie's but John manages to give it a real sleazy, disco-porn feel, if that's even a proper description. Anyway, for some reason this bassline gets stuck in my head quite a lot, plus I find this song is just Freddie being Freddie. It could have been on Mr. Bad Guy. Just another crazy track.
Of course, many others are great too: Liar, definately. Flash: simple but powerful. Dragon Attack, Sail Away Sweet Sister, '39, I'm Going Slightly Mad (end bit has some cool crazy bits), Ride The Wild Wind, Breakthru, the list is too long. Deacy, the quiet one, spoke volumes when needed.
Holly: You confuse me with Banquo, and you're not the first person to do that here. I have absolutely no affinity with Preston whatsoever, seeing as I come from the South-West, but what I do have in common with Banquo is the initial letter of my screen-name!
But I can tell you that you must be on something if you seriously think Northen Ireland are gonna beat us next year. Perhaps you confuse England with Azerbaijan?..
The most famous is "Another one bites the dust",followed by "Under Pressure",of course.
But I really love the bass intro in "The millionaire waltz".It's so dinamic and melodic!
And the one in "The show must go on",it's very poignant.
