The fact that I don't feel like "decoding" all of these stupid acronyms has nothing to do with my lack of queen knowledge and frankly I am upset with your insinuation that I'm either a "Fair weather" Queen fan or some "newbie".

So the fact that "you don't feel like it" is going to change the way QZers have communicated for years?

IIRC & AFAIK, LAW was orig b/cast as "Real Magic", so the FM tape that feeds the boot is prob less overdubbed, whereas the VHS was released much later.

Not sure about the overdubs myself and don't really care I enjoyed the show and the DVD is an excellent reminder! However while not wanting to argue about it if Mr Scully's interrpritation is right who would have dubbed Freddies parts for the 2 CD's & DVD? My understanding is that had Freddie not died certainly the CD's would never have been released. If they had been planned for release surely they would have come out instead of the cobbled together Live Magic? Just a thought!
Shadow boxing with yourself just seems to get you no where!

They were probably overdubbed for the Xmas 1986 broadcast. For the cd-release they probably used snippets from other MT concerts, like Budapest or other shows which were recorded profesionally to cover up any mistakes.
