In-case it isn't anything to do with Mr Biscuit - could it possibly be from a collector who has these great copies? Adding a bit of audience tagged on so that it can be a collector teasing...

I'm beginning to think King Biscuit actually added the audience themselves. I think their compilation with WWRY came out in 1989 (I actually have the ad recorded from TV somewhere). A version of the live BBC WWRY with audience noise I downloaded 4-5 years ago from Napster was labeled as being from King Biscuit (unless someone intentionally mislabeled it but I don't know why they would)....
King Biscuit was known for airing live music, so if they aired the BBC sessions without an audience in the background it would have gone against their format....

But since this appears to be a very sweeping statement that could include everybody and not just Victor, let me make this perfectly clear to you - I AM A QUEEN FAN, and have been since the very early days and have probably forgot more than you'll ever know.
You all get awfully excited at every announcement each time a concert is available to download...ie. basic concerts that the real fans have already owned for several years. None of you appear to have even heard of the "No News Is Good News" bootleg...a very well-known one.
So what if some fans don’t know about the “No News Is Good News” bootleg – its not surprising cause they are loads of bootlegs thanks to CD’r’s, the internet and dodgy traders and the like many of which have probably gone on under different names. The Xmas 1975 concert for instance was also called “Command Performance” long before the Milton Keynes one. And also, you don’t need to own any bootlegs to be a “real” fan – loads of fans like myself couldn’t afford to pay rip off prices to traders in the days before the internet.
You probably never even went to any Queen gigs. You lot just read up on it years later.
