I could swear (from the first day I heard it) that the high pitched line: -I've had enough,............ (of this same old game....)
it's Brians voice singing the "I've" part(whether it's blended with Freddies or just inserted), but I don't know why, but I believe that, for some reason, Freddie's voice wasn't that clear/high/suitable etc.. and postproduction went in there...
If you listen carefully you will find that "that" very bit sounds VERY VERY much as Brians tone and pitch...

Just listened to the part you're talking about, and it sounds like Freddie to me.
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.
While I understand what you're referring to and even heard what you're talking about, it's doubtful.

Peace,
Adam.
It's Freddie. JUST Freddie.
"Elton John and I became really good friends. I don't mean 'good friends' in that sense. I just mean we slept together." -Billy Joel
That was one of the first things I noticed too while listening to ML. That "Iiiiii've tone" sounds very much like Brian
I think I'll be Clint Eastwood Jimi Hendrix he was good Let's try William the Conqueror Now who else do I like?
It's Freddie.
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
It's Freddie and Brian mixed into one voice, I think.
Not those are losers who fall, but those who don't stand up.
Nope. JUST Freddie. All alone. No-one else. ;p

NO its JUST freddie , how can you think that its brian?? it doesnt even sound like brian, brian doesnt have that power in his voice. Cant you hear that its freddies voice?

you think freddie cant sing that by his own?? you think freddie cant sing "I've had enough" but can sing the rest like " Out in the city in the cold world outside"?? which is much higher vocals

Maybe its all brian that sings mother love?? lol

wow nice comeback lol :P
We love you Mandy!
This reminds me of the thing with a Hot Space track which people insist is Brian for like one or two words.. I think it's Put Out The Fire? So silly I've forgotten. :-P
Don't get me wrong. I believe Freddie could pull that off anytime, but in his state at the time, but in that particular second ("I've)it sounds to me very Brian like. The very first half second of the high-pitched voice.
Theres is A LOT of post production in that album for many reasons and one of them Freddie being very ill at that time. And Mother love I belive it was a constructed song because it was Freddie's last one. His voice was fine BUT for short periods due to his illness. I really believe that theres some Brian input on that particular note, but its my humble & personal opinion....:)

I think most likely Brian would go in falsetto for that note.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
