Some people forget that there are much more many fundamentalist religious wackos out there than we thought. That's probably because they think that the term "fundamentalist" only applies for Muslims.

A recent poll said that 44% of Americans will always vote Republican no matter what, and half of those said they were fundamentalist Christians. A very scary thought. I'm sure most of these will say they're "well-informed Christians". Yeah, whatever... what unfortunately passes for religious education these days is a fucking joke.

That would indicate a lack of confidence in your own sexuality. Again, often a result of indoctrined religious upbringing.

Amen.

I was going to spend an hour replying to Pouria, but I thank Mr. Allred for doing the honours.

Wich news page?
I think the millionaire waltz is the most Queen gay song.

unfortunately right now some extremists are in power and almost *1 everybody hates them and they are forcing some really stupid rules on people and the media only reflect the bad things and people only judge iranians based on this info.

*2 Second of all those of you(probabely faggots) out there that get upset why in Iran or any other muslim country homosexuality is banned, I have to tell you that homosexuallity is banned in Christianity too, Jews also ban homosexuality. Even in US, a country which is based on freedom of people, gays don't have any right to officially get married( Which I absolutely agree with even though I respected Freddie)

So those few of you who close your eyes and open your mouth without thinking and mixing up the Human right and the gay marriage, better reconsider your position because your are WRONG.

Right now some of you may think I'm an anti-gay person. weel to be honest with you,I don't exactly know. I love Queen and Freddie and I would love to sit down and watch his videos for hours even though he was gay and I consider his as my hero.*3 But I also strongly oppose gay marriage because I think it ruins the family values and it's not really normal.
I don't care if my co-worker or firend is gay as long as he doesn't come to and asks me out or acts like a woman , becasue that's when i really get fucking mad.*4

[/QUOTE]

I think the sentences marked with an * are complete stupid. I don't think you are a smart person.
Please let me tell you why.

*1 You say everybody hates the government in Iran. EVERYBODY?...That's generalization... a non-argument.

*2You call the people who are upset probably (it's without an e actually) faggots. Well darling, i'm no faggot at all but i'm also upset.. generalization, again..

*3You also think gay marriage ruins the familty values. You think it's wrong. I don't think that a child can't have a normal family if it their parents are both men or women. Family values, doesn't that sound great? But what does it mean in a society where most marriages don't seem to work and more than half of them are ending in a divorce? It's all about LOVE. And ,in my opinion, when two people love eachother and their children it doesn't mather wheter they are man and woman or not. Two man or two woman could love eachother as much as a man and a woman can.

I think that's the most ridiculous point you made. You get really fucking mad when a gay acts like a woman? Freddie Mercury is your hero right? Ever seen the 'I Want To Break Free' video? Any idea how Freddie behaved when he was not on stage or being filmed for Queen? Freddie was the kind of gay you hate.. an over the top ultra gay person who slept with everyone he wanted and he enjoyed it.

Think about it.

Cheers,
Dennis
above was ment for POURIA
Micael Allred, many thanks for your excellent speaking here! When I read the things POURIA wrote i immediately began to type. I saw your reply after i typed mine.

You took the words rights of my mouth.
pouria...you homophobic little Muslim! If you're gonna refer to gay people as faggots, big mama jay is gonna have to refer to you as a big ole sand nigga.

I absolutely laugh at the fact that people say they respect Freddie, but don't thing gay people should have the equal rights as straight people.

It's like saying "I really respect Martin Luther King" but damn "those niggas gotta stay out of our white kids schools"

Sure it says homosexuality is an abomination in the bible....but isn't everything fun an abomination in the bible?

C'mon pouria. Lighten up a little. As long as theres going to be fine music, art, and film there are going to be gays. That's just the way Allah made it so...So get used to it! "we're here, we're queer....get over it!"
Freddie: "Yes, we'll have a great big cock fly over the crowd!" Roadies: "Yeah! Great Idea!" Freddie: "And it will fly into a great big mouth with a moustache!"
"Speaking of the gay right, don't forget that even Queen lost its popularity for "I Want To Break Free" video."

Actually, I thought it was a very fun and funny video. That's Queen. They didn't give a fuck if you liked their video or if you thought it was wrong. They did what they wanted and what they felt like doing. Hell, some people though Bohemian Rhapsody was too long and risky to release, but Queen did anyway! And like someone said earlier, how can you respect Freddie but say you can't stand gays?! Jesus! I think you got the wrong website....
'You're just jealous because I can rock my tights better than you EVER could!' 'Where won't I wear my sombrero!?'
And there I was, thinking I posted some happy news...

Is Music Man a poster child for the American justice system?

Who cares if you put the wrong man to death as long as you made the better argument?

This is why we need Edwards as VP - we need more frivilous lawsuits to revive the economy.

The only thing to judge whether or not a man should be condemned to death is through argument and reasoning. If you think there is a better way, I'd love to see it.

Rien, you are the man
I love you, You did a great job and no doubt about.

Music Man - The American Justice System is too much about argument and has little to do with reasoning. Winning an argument in a circus atmosphere is more important than justice.

It's not the same thing, dear jasen101! Martin Luther King fought against racism and, if you respect him, you respect him exactly for his beliefs and activity. Queen didn't fight for gays' rights, the only thing they did was to create, play and record a splendid music (which has nothing to do with homosexuality). If you respect Freddie, then you normally respect him for his music and if you like his music you don't care about his sexuality. So I know many people who don't agree with gays' rights, but they still love Queen's music. I know them personally and I can tell you they respect Queen's musicianship, they love the IWTBF video and admire Freddie's stage performances. I hope one is allowed to be a Queen fan without being gay or being a supporter of gay marriage.
When are all of you (gays, homphobes, Muslims, whatever) gonna understand that art has nothing to do with private life and anyone's sexuality is no reason to hate his music?!

Sure it says homosexuality is an abomination in the bible....but isn't everything fun an abomination in the bible?

And what do you think about respecting other people's religions, eh? We're takling so much in here about gays' rights, what if a Christian or a Jew replies to some posts in here and starts another big fight against some of us? Sure, it's not allowed to hate gays, is it allowed then to hate Christianity?! Please... not all Christians are narrow-minded people, I know some very intelligent Christians. Oh and they love Queen and respect Freddie! Shocking, isn't it? Btw, the Bible it's written with "B", not "bible", it's the title of a book, whether you like it or not.

Even when there'll be no fine music, art and film, there will still be gays in the world. Unfortunately... :) Just kidding! I'm not anti-gay. I'm even writing a novel with a gay character, so don't stab me to death, OK? :)
