Aids, stupid ;-)
Isn't that a brand of sneaker?
Of course, Freddie wore them onstage!
It actually takes less time to do an internet search for a simple question, than to post a question on a message board and then wait for the answer.
Come on - Show a little initiative. No one wants to live next door to a neighbor that plays helpless, and asks for help for simple things every day ...
if you cannot find the answer after a simple search, then ask the message board ...

But don't you think that very young fans might use a simple question as a way to jump in and get aquainted on the messageboards? I guess I just don't understand why everyone gets so up in arms about it.

*APPLAUDS* Wow i was getting so tired of trying to push this point over- i dont think this devide will ever heal. At the end of the day, they will always do it guys, so get used to it, or leave. the end.
1) did freddie have children? / was he married to mary austin?
2) whats your favourite- album, single, member of the band etc
and you have said the rest
my favourite by OLD members
1) i hate baer, dont you? ok lets ignore him... no i dont want to... but if you dont he wont go away... but hes good... no hes not etc
2)stupid newbies, i hate newbies. they are so new and they ask the same things over and over
3) *insert stupid technical question here thats boring and that nobody cares about really* eg which chord did brian play at four minutes 20 seconds of *insert song*
1. What are the bleeped out words of Death on Two Legs, And to who is it dedicated
2. Where is Jhon
3. What does Teo Torriate means
4. What does Jhon's T-shirt at Wembley say
5. When, and from who did Freddie get AIDS
i'm "into" Queen for many years...as for the t shirt of John in wembley, you can only see the 3 first words (i think) if i asked, does it make me a newbie?i was only 6 at the time of the concert, and i'm not in england to know about England tabloids!
by the time Death on Two Legs was realesed i was still a baby,if i asked now does it make me a newbie?
The other 3...who cares?well of course we ALL want to know if John is ok.but why ask where he is?
Just because i don't know to reply to same questions, doesn't make me a newbie! EVERYONE,and i say it again,EVERYONE has questions they want to know the answer(even the "old"),are they newbies just because of that?
Everyone was a newbie,in some point or another...my question to those "old" people is: when you were a newbie,if you asked a stupid question about Queen, and someone was making fun of you...did you like it?
Can I just say I love Janet??
I am pissed though that my newbie questions didn't make the most ignorant list.
DAMNIT!!!!
;)
*waves at Janet*

Yes, that's how things are when you're a teenager and have only the slightest idea about what the heck's going on ... You are terrific. :) Involvement is what we're after ...
Sir GH>
You're absolutely right but maybe newbies want to be part of the board, even with that kind of questions.....
I believe there are more stupid ones from old members regarding sarcasm. I mean one thing is to make a funny remark and other one is keep attacking and being "funny" at people expenses...
Just my opinion, but at the end of the day, people can post whatever they want. Is just my point of view anyway.
You're right... it does indeed get out of hand sometimes.
And it also doesn't hurt to show a little kindness at times, either.
And it happens at times... just not always. :)
It's a toss-up... it really comes down to laziness vs. apathy. But when I've had a really long day, and someone here asks what Freddie died from, I just don't have the patience.
Whatever happened to the FAQ section we talked about in June/July?

Totally agree my friend.... :)
Btw, i think that the John's shirt says "Freddie is the greatest Rock Super Star of all time".
And please, remove these newbie, rocker and royalty (or whatever) adjectives. They are so moronic... I could easily be a super deity Queenzoner by just adding (or spamming) a simple answer (like "I totally agree!!!") to every topic in here, am i right or not?
Hmm, this topic is funny. Are you bored so much to start this one, FriedChicken ? On one side I can see a lot of complains from so called ’old’ members about silly questions ’new’ ones ask and on the other side you start topic about these ’newbie’ questions. Isn’t this strange ? <shaking head>
I’m with Janet here. All of us have possibility not to answer to questions which seem to us dummy. Or - we could answer it - and if we do, then try to be not harsh. I know sometimes this could be hard, but maybe it’s better to count to ten (or maybe to one hundred) before answering.
My two cents.

And what is all this "Freddie" stuff, people? It's "FREDDIE"! I've noticed that the non-newbies are doing this more than the newbies are. Must be getting senile. :)
We're just doing it in reaction to the newbies saying Freddie. Of course we know it's spelled Fradyiee.
It could be worse, newbies could go to the VH1 (American) site and look up Queen stuff and have all the wrong info and try to show it off for us as if they need to impress us. Or, they could have purchased a pic on eBay and it turned out to be a Queen Rocks poster autographed by Freddie. But yeah, I'm getting tired of a lot of questions. Kids, it's called a SEARCH ENGINE for a reason! The internet is your oyster!
