heh, I was sort of thinking about Family Guy when I posted it.

I can't say that I'd've been too impressed by his cookie duster after seeing him with the combed back, greaser look from Jazz. To each his own, I guess?
...this kettle is boiling over... ...one dump...one turd...two tits...John Deacon... ...one prawn...one shrimp...one clam...one chicken!
Here! Here! Mr. Mercury.
I am with you all the way on your reply. 1st is the music. That was a very nice thing you said.

Thought it was a bit naff but more interested in the music than the looks!
Shadow boxing with yourself just seems to get you no where!
I just thought it was another look for Freddie
It didn't worry me!
Soul Brother
I first saw Freddie with a moustache, in the Ga Ga video (7th place in a VH1 top 10), before I was a fan, and said to myself: this guy is soooo ugly! I hate him! And immediately afterwards, I saw the video for WATC and BoRhap and sighed: he's such a cute boy, damn it! So... I guess I'm not very fond of his 80s looks, but what matters is the music, after all...
I LOVE QUEEN! "My guitar was my weapon and my shield to hide behind" (Brian May)
I think I was more shocked at the look he had just before he grew his mustache, like in the Crazy video. Just to see the short hair was the surprise, even though it had been getting shorter over the years. But like has been mentioned before, the music came first, and I couldn't care less what they looked like, as long as they were putting out the best music in the world!!
every second word he swore, yes, he was the son of a whore, always wanted by the law!
I didn’t like it (first I saw Freddie on inner sleeve of The Game LP in 1980), but I could live with it. As some of us said before me - his music and voice is the only important thing.
But now it's time to be gone - forever...
