How did you feel when you first saw Freddie with a moustache?

For what I've read most fans back then weren't happy about it, and they starting tossing razor blades on stage or sending them by mail.

I too've read that. Sucks kinda.

Freddie: I wonder what these darlings have sent me today *reaches inside envelope and cuts self* GOD! OH GOD! HELP ME! Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

John: Oh, I really wish he wouldn't open his mail during our silent reading time.

I'm interested in knowing if there are any pictures of Freddie with long hair and a moustache or John with beard/moustache. I've seen one picture of John with mild stubble but that's all. He's the only one I've not seen with major beard-age.
...this kettle is boiling over... ...one dump...one turd...two tits...John Deacon... ...one prawn...one shrimp...one clam...one chicken!
I was like 12 when Freddie grew his stash and to be honest at the time I couldnt even recognize him. I always prefered the old look but as time passed I accepted it.

I remember thinking, "OH MY GOD, dont you realise everybody is going to think your gay".

LOL!!!!!:D

Whe I first read that, the OH GOD! GOD! HELP ME! I thought of Peter Griffin from Family Guy. I don't know why. It just reminded me of him.
'You're just jealous because I can rock my tights better than you EVER could!' 'Where won't I wear my sombrero!?'
Personally it never bothered me back then. I was more interested in the music rather than the way they looked.

HATED IT!!!

Particularly since I had liked all of his many looks up until that point, most especially the leather clone look he had during the Jazz/Live Killers albums.

But you can't be a pop princess if you look like a leather queen!

(great question, btw...)
...gonna use my prisoners, gonna give 'em the business...
Never even thought about it.
Cleveland May 24 to June 4th 2007 - I came, I saw, I fucked off home again.
I didn't think much about it.

Haha, you're so right. I could just imagine that too. John would be Brian.
Creativity can always cover for a lack of knowledge.
I was about 11, I think. Didn't like it at first. But didn't really care much either. Got used to it soon enough.

You can judge a man by his whiskers and Freddie had a fine set.
FLASHMAN STRIKES AGAIN! Paul Rodgers is not the best thing since fried Fred.
I did not notice the stash. I mildly opposed the shorter hair on John and Freddie. I was somewhat disappointed with The Game (synthesisers and mostly top 40 short song sound) But the Game was neww and enjoyable nonetheless.

I never thought about it one way or the other. People are allowed to change their looks, and like someone else said, I was more interested in what they sounded like than what they looked like.

It didn't bother me in the slightest, he still wrote great songs, and sang them just as good.
There must be more to life than this.
