Mr. Bad Guy or Made In Heaven's IWBTLU
Which one would you choose?
For me it's the MIH one.
2+2=5
The Made In Heaven one for me, has more of a rock type feel to it :) The Mr Bad Guy version is more of a Disco track
"I'm going up Buchanan Street With a box of fireworks And two bottles of Tizer"
MIH I like
Mr Bad Guy I can't stand- and that goes for 90 % of teh album...

I rather the Mr. Bad Guy version of I Was Born to Love You.

And I rather the Freddie version of Mr. Bad Guy instead of Queen. Especially the bassoon part at the end. I can just picture Dr. Hibbert saying 'how delightfully satirical'.
...this kettle is boiling over... ...one dump...one turd...two tits...John Deacon... ...one prawn...one shrimp...one clam...one chicken!
Well, I would choose Queen's ver of IWBTLY. But I'm quite partial to the extended version from the Bad Guy remixes.

Peace,
Adam.
I never cared much for the solo version, though the video for that is fun. Recently I've fallen in love with Queen's version, mostly after getting the karaoke mix which really showcases how much was put into it. So much energy and fun. I know Freddie would have loved it.
I like both, but I think Queen's version is better. It just sounds fatter and more complete.
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.

Queen redid Mr. Bad Guy?
Mr. bad guy for me...
"How Can I Go On From Day To Day.... You Can Make Me Strong In Every Way..."

No, they only reworked I Was Born To Love You and did some cuts on Living On My Own (the Freddie Mercury Album version sounds however better than the MBG version).
In what concerns IWBTLY... I'd rather the Queen version, I dunno why, Freddie's version is fine too, but Queen's has that unique feeling proper only to their work together - THAT feeling that flows throughout all their music and which made them such a great band.
I LOVE QUEEN! "My guitar was my weapon and my shield to hide behind" (Brian May)
I prefer The Mr.Bad Guy version,it's more Freddiesh and in line with the spirit of the song.
But most of all I like the embryonic pianistic version featured in the FM solo collection box set.
Freddie Mercury. A wonderful human being and simply the greatest singer, performer and composer of our times.
The music makes a big difference, that's why I like the MIH version best.
I am not a big fan of the MBG album. All those discosounds make me nervous.
I think I'll be Clint Eastwood Jimi Hendrix he was good Let's try William the Conqueror Now who else do I like?
I like them both for different reasons. So, I guess I really just can't choose!
"Elton John and I became really good friends. I don't mean 'good friends' in that sense. I just mean we slept together." -Billy Joel

Buy the FM solo boxset! It really is superb.
