I have given up on QZ

What was once an amazing place to chat about Queen and so many other topics has become a place filled with far too many incompetent newbies and intolerant oldtimers. Insults and wars have become far too rampant in a once lively and welcoming place.

I'll lurk around now and then and perhaps occasionally post, but there's nothing really here for me anymore. Plus, recently I've gotten a job as a guitar teacher at a music studio, so I'll have much less free time for this place, anyway. I never thought I'd say these words: I love my job.

However, I will definitely do my best to keep you all updated throughout my process of auditioning for WWRY Toronto next year.

It's been a great ride, and at times a wonderful learning experience, but the best days of QZ are definitely behind us. All here whom I deeply respect know who you are. My email address is in my profile for anyone who wants to keep in touch. Take care, all.

I totally agree with you Bob. I'm gutted that QZ has become what it has. I think that this place seriously needs a moderator for the time being just to get things straightened out. Ive met some nice people on here and learned alot about my fave band, but the boards are a complete and utter shambles. Its pathetic, pathetic idiots such as HeMatiunlknlknfhycvj, Breanna, DrsDaJa, Mrs_Mercury and the like that have completely fucked it up for everyone.

Even if I wish you all the best for your new job, I really hope you will still find the time and the will to post on here... I've not been here for that long but I always thought you were one of the most relevant voices of the forum...

In addiction to that, you really seem to me a nice person and I'm sure that your friends here would miss you a lot...

...Anyway I must say that sometimes topics are pissing me off as well and so I think I can understand the reasons behind your disappointment...

Things may change quicker than you think and maybe you'll find the board more interesting very soon :) However, good luck for the auditions - a Queenzoner playing the Canadian WWRY would sure make us proud.

I have a feeling that the charles baer impersonator is quite popular on this board, some long time members reply on a regular basis - even Sir Bob:) If there were no replies, he would have given up already. It's true that I am an optimist and I am sure the board will get better.
