I would have never understood what "Cold Space" meant if I hadn't read your profile. I'm REALLY, really slow sometimes.

Well, I have to admit, after peeking at this topic this afternoon, I was lost for words, and couldn't think of anything coherent to say at the time.
From my perspective, what was expected to be a thread with a couple newbies replying with their usual asinine comments actually ended up being a reason in itself for me to wonder why I wanted to leave in the first place.
It was almost like being at one's own funeral... discovering that people think something of you and care for you, and that they really wouldn't completely say so unless you were leaving them in some way. Thanks everyone for your kind words towards me. They mean quite a lot.
I see that the war-hungry newbies seem to have been removed completely. The "banning policy" topic is an unfortunate thing to have happened, but I think it was completely necessary. A dozen thanks to Richard and Barbara.
I suppose I can revise my original statement to say, "I have given up on QZ, as it was". So with that in mind, let's make QZ that welcoming place it once was, folks. If you all are up for it, then I am too. But if QZ continues to be the place it has been for the past few months, then I certainly will have little to no desire to hang around.
P.S. Thanks for keeping Baer alive!

BTW, I keep forgetting that Cher pic is in there. It makes no sense. I was seeing how big I could have a photo while it still being a small enough filesize, and her lovely black hair helped to keep the size smaller, since black takes fewer bits or something. I can't explain why I had that pic on hand to begin with though :-P
Well..I didn't read this whole thread (too tired =P) but I'd like to say that, still being a newbie of sorts, I enjoy talking Queen and music in general here. I enjoy posting with ppl here and I hope no one ever feels the need to leave.

This may sound silly, but reading some of the replies to Bobs leaving message, I started getting a bit choked up. Then I read Bob saying hes going to stay at QZ, and well, its all getting too emotional for me. So Im going to pop on Eye of the Tiger by Survivor to cheer myself up. I didn't say I was planning on staying indefinitely. I think it's fair to say that I'll come back for good if/when I see some positive change here over the next little while.
This place has meant a lot to me over the past couple years, and it has been awful to see it in the state it was in up to yesterday. I'd like to see QZ become a real forum again, and I think I can see that happening... an overall welcoming and productive place. Time will tell.
