To say that Liza Stansfield was bad is ridiculous...
Paul Young was by far the worst. I've never heard such a flat voice before or since... (of well known performers..)

From the Tribute concert I think Lisa Stansfield and Liza Minelli were the worst.
That might be the case, but I am very happy that Minelli was there. She was Freddie's favourite actress and I'm sure he would have loved to see her on his tribute concert.
I laughed my bum off when I read the banner of a fan saying "Paul, tear Wembley down!" and then heard that feeble voice trying to do Radio Gaga. But we all have to see that most musicians then were on top of their career and thus very interesting to look at and listen to.
Personally, my point of view about "best" and "worst" artist at the Tribute varies now and then. First, I absolutely disliked Roger Daltrey. I was afraid he would kill Brian with his mic-lasso game. He also fucked up some vocals. But then, his voice fitted the song pretty good.
Always liked Zucchero's Las Palabras de Amor. George Michael was also great, we have to give him that. Not on Days of our lives though. The sentiment of the song was completely destroyed. Not because he sang badly but because he sang it too strong...
Bowie did a great job (not the prayer though, I think Roger thinks likewise), and "All the Young Dudes" was probably the best song that night.

I dind`t like Roger Daltry`s version of "I Want It All" however the opening guitar solo was great! I haven`t seen the whole concert, only few numbers so I can`t say about all the performers, but I must say this:
- George Michael`s "Somebody To Love" truly amazing
- Michael`s and Lisa`s "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" quite good technically but as someone said before totally f*cked up the atmosphere of that song - it was ment to be sort of goodbye and they did an "another crappy love song for young girls"
- "Under Pressure" by Bowie & Lennox - pathetic (Lennox`s make - up was awful), however I didi like the "rah mix" version video

I think the girl from the 46664 show who sang IWTBF was really good.
Elton John in the show must go on, didn't have same degrees or freddie power, and Zucchero his voice was a disaster

i think it was the people NOT playing there and then...and who should have been there because they did play and record with Freddie. (not like the party of Brian and Roger friends who could sure use a boost for their own "careers?"and gladly took advantage of the opportunity to do so, like Metallica..) i think i found the missing artists worst...they should have been there more than anyone else that day...Michael jackson, Billy Squire, Jo Dare, Montserrat Cabbalé, Eddy Howell, Tim Staffel, and many more who really knew the man...i think that Brian and Roger should organise something again with those who weren't there the first time....maybe to celebrate at another round figure like 13 years, 13 months, 13 weeks, and 13 days after he left us....when would that be then? pretty soon i guess?

Metallica. I consider it to be a connection between the past and the present, although, hetfield kinda overdid it. I think of it as one of Queen's redeeming value in the eyes of heavy metal fans.
Another one that was bad at 46664 was Roger Taylor, who did nothing but stare at the chicks from The Corrs and harldy ever concentrated on playing the drums...
...but then again, can you blame him?
well, Roger did sing say its not true - which was one of the main highlights for me of the whole show.
Paul Young sounded like he was singing through his nostrils.
