I agree with you Sergey. All I wanted to say is that the disney version offers footage which is not shown in the other version. I also don't like the animations. It does not fit into the goodbye message... It is simply made up.

It's a nice video and a nice song. however I like the Disney version much better. I think it's frightning to see Fred in such a bad state, and I thnik it was very strong of to do it.

I really like the mood of the Disney version. I find the animations capture the melancholic feel of the song better still than the non-animated one.

IMO, it goes okay for the song and for the feel of it, as you said, but if you watch it as a last Freddie's video (well, and Queen's too... I'm not a fan of all those MIH films and DoRo videos, except NOBY) it's better without animation. It's like Freddie's saying his last goodbye to fans, so it has to be clear.

Some additional footages. Animation is in 'Save Me' style.
Both CAG and POTU WERE primarily filmed for their respective single releases in the US.
Similar to Headlong, the US-release of TADOOL (in wasn't a promo-only release. The cassette was commercially available, released in August 1991, I think) came quite a while before its European release
The TADOOL-vid in its animated form was - on the short term - most probably produced for the US-market. Alas, I don't know when it was shown on US TV for the first time.
Some of it was shown at the end of the Queen The Days of Our Lives doscumentary shown on US TV in the summer of 1991. The documentary was narrated by Axl Rose. Before the show ended, there was a tag for the re-release of Queen's catalog on Hollywood Records. Hollywood was co-owned by Disney and Elektra in the US and Canada then Hollywood switched distribution rights to PolyGram in the US and A&M/PolyGram in 1995 and lastly Universal in 1999.

There was another TATDOOL video with the original video plus a montage of Queen through the years. That montage version was shown on VH1 constantly in the summer of 1992.
As I remember it surprising enough since i was 11 years old back then , I dont ever remember seeing it till sometime in late september early october and it wasnt even played on mtv at this point because the whole hip hop and r&b thing took over the air waves , I saw it on VH1 as I was getting ready to go to school so im not sure if they only played the video at night or if it was during the day and afternoon hours as well. Either way the only version i ever saw was the disney version and I wish i could see the non animated version of this video as Im a die hard Queen fan and was always interested about Freddies life and illness.
