...quick question for those that have the CD:
Does the first CD start by fading in or is it "chirped" in like the beginning of KYA?
Mine does the "chirping" thing and it just sounds odd.

glad I didn't get a defective.

Just wondering: is the mix on CD the same as on the DVD? Because lots of times they seem to differ....
Mix wise it sounds the same. Infact the only edits I can hear are the speeches between songs. For instance Freddie's "Its only a bloody record..." phrase has been cut just before Staying Power.
Let's be honest here, the "on Fire" cd package has received no press whatsoever so who knows that it's on the shelves? The package on the whole is disapointing, the worst sleeve on a Queen Cd, no limited edition vinyl for us collectors, no production input from Taylor/May or Deacon (ha ha!). I personally think that this tour was the "child" of a dreadful studio album, "Hot Space", and like that ill-fated recording the "on fire" cd is destined to be just as forgettable. WHY NOT RELEASE EARLS COURT OR HAMMERSMITH '75!!

Cos Jim Beach is an asshole
I live just north of Toronto , Ontario and went looking for the DVD in Barrie today. I was sure it would be out. No store had the CD or DVD and could not say for sure when it would be in. As well there has been absolutely no promotion over here of the show. My bet is it wont have much chart success here either...
