You only get flamed if you ask stupid things. Have fun on Queenzone man :-)

As for recordings, if you mean acoustic piano, probably the only tracks of that in Innuendo album are in Headlong (Brian didn`t mention it in the list of songs he had played piano on so it must be Fred), and All God`s People (Mike). Slightly Mad has some piano at the end as well as Delilah here and there but imo those are digital pianos (Roland RD-1000 to be more precise) as opposed to a grand one.

In Miracle there`s also grand piano in the title track (easier to notice hearind separate DTS tracks), as well as in Party. In fact that song was started by Fred playing piano and singing "we have a good time".

As for keyboards, Jim Hutton said that Fred recorded `A Winter`s Tale` by himself, so the synths are surely him, not the others. He co-wrote the other two tracks from post-Innuendo - Mother Love and You Don`t Fool Me - so it`s reasonable to think he played the synths in there too.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

<Headlong (Brian didn`t mention it in the list of songs he had played piano on so it must be Fred)>

Brian could just as well have forgotten to mention Headlong (you've noted Brian's sometimes hazy memory often enough), because the piano-track plays such a minor part in the song. So there's no reason to 100 % beleive that it MUST be Fred.

On 'AKOM' songs it could be Spike Edney.

'Hang On In There' - yes, it sounds as Freddie's piano-playing style. About 'Innuendo' era I don't know exactly, there is much of synths, but 'Delilah' can has some piano sounds though.

spike didn't play in any queen records

Gabriel and Thomas: How do you account for the fact that Spike is credited for extra keyboards on the AKOM album then?
Gullibility and credulity are considered undesirable qualities in every department of human life -- except religion.

Holy Cow man.. He is RIGHT, I saw it with me own eyes.. and then I used my Dads eyes.. and it still was there.. AKOM, Extra Keyboards: Spike Edney
My Brothers and Sisters all hated me 'cause I was an only child... -Weird Al (Generic Blues) I gave up on books when 'To Kill A Mockingbird' gave me no useful advice on how to kill a mockingbird.

Umm... Open up AKOM sleeve and read...

I can't see something funny or stupid in that question.

Freddie plays grand piano on It's a beautiful Day from Made in Heaven. Unmistakably his style! So I think he played piano until the near end!
I play a Burns Brian May for Dream of Icarus

a beautiful day is from 1980

in the staff restroom, Tesco's Redditch Superstore last Tuesday, during his lunchbreak

by all accounts his rendition of My Fairy king was spot on, but he felt the piano had gone a little out of tune and this showed up more during "good old fashioned loverboy"

Was it him or Brian that did the piano to My Life Has Been Saved? If it was Freddie, that could be his last one. If not, could be It's A Beautiful Day.
