my paper about queen for the english class was practically killed by my professor. he's a jerk. i withdrawed from that horrible class and take it next sem. i have time to do more research!!!!!!!!! he he :P

I would have said, "Yes, poor President Reagan... It was most unfortunate. It possibly had to do with the close relationship between him and President Bush..." to see how long they bought it...

I was thinking of suggesting to my English teacher that our class watch Philadelphia on World AIDS day (December 1). I rented it last night with my friends, and they thought it was a good idea too.

GREAT movie, but very tough to watch.

I don't remember the name of whatever it is my roommate rented today, but I saw a small piece of it, and it was enough to get me on the phone and registered in an AIDS class here in Tallahassee. Once I've completed these courses and such, I will then be allowed to volunteer as a buddy in an AIDS/HIV program here. What I saw was heart-wrenching enough that I am determined to become more involved in volunteering... It was pitiful, and horribly, terribly sad.

I know that Big Bend, here in Tallahassee, has several things planned for World AIDS Day, on December 1st...what's going on elsewhere?

Yay! My teacher said we could watch it. We can only watch part of it though, because we only have 45 minutes. She told me and my friend to pick out scenes that are really important to the story. We already decided that one of the ones we show will be the part where Andrew Beckett goes to Denzel Washington's character (forgot his name) to help him with the case.

If it makes ya feel any better Erica , I do an all Queen net radio show and Wednesday is my last program ever as I plan to retire after doing it for 3 years i usually get about 32 listeners every broadcast .. most of them leave but I plan to do a tribute to Freddie and Queen on the 24th , also as a birthday present to my friend Amy whos Birthday is November 24th , and the begining is gonna be nice too .. the first 9 songs in my track list for this show is dedicated to her daughter Lacey who was killed by a drunk driver back in April of this year. Wow, when I was at school we just watched whole movies in instalments over a few classes. It was brilliant when we did Schindler's List because it's three hours long and we watched it three times :-) Pity the movie's so depressing.
