Why do the good die young? Like Freddie, Patsy Cline, Marilyn, Monroe, Jimmy Hendrix, Buddy Holly, Jim Morrison, George Harrison, John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Lenord Skinord.......Need I go on?Not all people were musical artists either, there's Princess Diana, Picasso.......[other people that I can't think of.]
(Add on to list if you know of anyone else please)

Picasso was, I think, 90 years old when he died.
92. But compared to George Burns and Bob Hope they're rank amateurs.
Ashley Willworth. She died at 18, and while none of you have ever heard of her, she was an incredible violinist: a very competent concertmaster, and a brilliant performer.
What about JFK? I would say he died at a relatively young age.
Ja ne.

Let's not forget Great King Rat...He was only 44 when he died, on his birthday no less.
Which was "the 21st of May".

Really... People die at all ages. What about the absolute millions of kids that never saw their 5th birthday. They might have become the next Lennon. On the other side, there have been many good people die in their nineties I'm sure. Just as there have been many scumbags that died young and old. My own brother died in his thirties and my niece died when she was bloody 2 - there's no rhyme or reason to it, it's just life.
But even accepting your sentimentalist approach, you've totally forgotton John Henry Bonham!!! :)
And Picasso had a hell of an innings. I wouldn't be crying for him.
And that actress from Holby City. UK people, help me on this one, whats her name? Her boyfriend, who played her boyfriend in the show, was suspected of pushing her or something?
Laura Sadler.
That was it. Thanks.
Joe Strummer
Kurt Cobain (if he was that good is arguable)
Maurice Gibb
James Dean

Because:
1) we're mostly talking about pop-artists. Pop-music started (roughly) in the 50's with young artist. They come of age these days, mid-seventies, the average age for humans in a western country. Some do, but they became uninteresting because they didn't die, and just grew old.
We only remember the ones who died early (Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, even Elvis). The ones who grew old, Jerry Lee and Chuck Berry, only reach the headlines when they do incredibly stupid things.
2) pop stars tend to live unhealthy, therefore they die at a young age (Jim, Janis, Jimi, Brian)
3) some pop stars would have been long forgotten, if they hadn't filled lists like these
