NOTWMEDDLE trust me those Amazon reviews are just satire. The Cranky Reviewer guy *hates* Britney and Duran...he's just making fun of the likes of people who write reviews praising Britney Spears albums.
Actually I have been a fan of his reviews for quite some time :) He sounds like a big Queen fan to me. He also makes fun of the stupid things reviewers in the past have said trashing Queen (focusing on silly non-musical things like Freddie's teeth, etc.). He makes fun of how bad AC/DC's singers are, and how they can be easily replaced while Freddie can't. I think he may have given up his satire for The Game and Flash Gordon though and directly said what some Queen fans think about those. :) But a non-Queen fan wouldn't have heard all those albums. ;)

i agree with the last, at first i thought this guy was a classic rock basher, but now i see his point. I think he's making fun of the whole teeny bopper thing, i relized this as i kept reading his reviews.

I did enjoy Cranky's reviews at first in 2001 BUT then when his reviews started to counter my reviews of Pink Floyd albums and making fun of my name(calling me Terri which is an insult and calling me a racist which is not true) that was when I decided to go to war with the guy! I can only take jokes as far as it can go! Once he kept repeating them and made fun of me OVER and OVER and OVER, I don't like him anymore! It is how I feel(you can't change a person with autism(Aspergers Syndrome in my case)).

I know I'm a little late on this (I usually am lol) but I just want to agree with all of you. This little prick has no knowledge of the extravanganza that is Queen. Simply put: This guy knows nothing. Allow me to demonstrate:
He does not know that Bohemian Rhapsody has been voted countless times as the best song of all time (in the UK and other countries, and sometimes in the US).
He does not know that Queen has sold out nearly every concert they performed at in the 70's and 80's (Wembley, Milton Keynes, Rock In Rio, Knebworth, Hammersmith, to name a few)
He does not know that Queen is, as a few of you have pointed out, the second most popular band of all time (behind The Beatles, of course).
He does not know that Queen's first Greatest Hits collection in 1981 stayed on the UK charts for over 5 years (and the second GH didn't do too bad either)
He does not know that Freddie Mercury, the so-called "bucktoothed freak", has been seen as one of the greatest frontmen of all time, even in the eyes of other frontmen (Bret Michaels of Poison, Axl Rose of the former Guns N' Roses, etc.)
But most importantly...
He does not know that there are millions and millions of fans worldwide (and hundreds here on this very board) that are die-hard fans of Queen and will forever be fans until the end of time!
Someone should really kick his ass. He's a big disgrace, waving his banner all over the place. ;)

I am not trying to pick a fight but I was mis-diagnosed in 1979 when I was 3 with autism and I was not aware of Aspergers(mild autism) until 1999 and had to go to Boston for tests and then was properly re-diagnosed as Aspergers. Aspergers was not around in 1979. The reviewer called me a retard in the past! Being insensitive and obnoxious used to get me in trouble so being sensitive and caring is more important IMHO! The name Terri sounded too feminine to me(always has and still does but c'est la vie) and I actually once violently attacked a resource room teacher for calling me Terri one day after they kept calling me that day in and day out! My family and friends have always called me Terrence(still do although I have some flattering and funny nicknames(which I smile and chuckle over) like Screwface, Scoance, Crazy Nut, Dewey(after long retired Boston Red Sox outfielder Dwight Evans), Schmoo(after a ghostly blob on The Flintstones) and such) but this teacher I had was initially a jerk so one day I went crazy and the school was threatening to kick me out(I was 8 when this happened) until my parents came in and explained that the teachers knew nada about autism and was always called Terrence. Then after the meeting, the teacher called me Terrence from that point forward and the resource room teacher and I got along better in later years. As long as I can keep myself happy, my Aspergers is not evident BUT when angered and provoked the symptoms of autism come out(I have paper work for proof!) Better to come clean than hide things from people and look at you or read you off as odd! Sorry people, I know I have to monitor my condition with love, peace and happiness and my parents refused for me to be on medications because in actuality, meds worsen the condition! Well, I do have a sense of humor but can only take jokes as far is it can go!

If it really hated Queen so much, it sould not have listened to all of these albums. Plus the reviews just restate themselves. Don't take someone who likes Britney Spears so seriously, people.
