What are you doing on Christmas? Celebrating with your family? And what are you doing to make it a good family celebration?

I already baked my cookies which is a lot of work and I am happy to have it done. Now it's buying the presents which I enjoy and writing my Christmas cards. As always I am late with everything...
I do not want any google ads here.

As a rule, we don't go in much for nothing too fancy in these parts, but we make an exception for birthdays and Christmas, when we really push the boat out. There'll be a big spread on at the gaffer's this year, with Gumms coming from all over to join in the fun. Plenty of food (there'll need to be - we take some filling!) and a river of ale which never runs dry.

I quite like the sound of YourValentine's cookies, I must say. Any chance of putting an order in? Discount for cash?
I don't mean no harm!

I just bought Christmas cards and am now working on my Christmas list. I've got somewhere around 13 people!

I spend Christmas at home with family.

Our tree is up and decorated. We usually put it up the Sunday after the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm writing out my Christmas cards now. I have a large family, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, all married. We have 10 children between us, and many of their children are married with children of their own, so our Christmas celebration is quite a large one.

My cousins (my favorite one included) are coming here from all the way across the country. And then I go to my mother's parents' house on Christmas day in the morning through the afternoon (and have a big meal and open gifts) and then we go to my dad's parents' house for the night (where another big meal awaits and more gifts). On both sides there are a lot of people in my family but the most people are on my dad's side. I usually help my mum bake a lot of treats..cookies in particular. I still have so many gifts left I should buy....but I LOVE Christmas! We are already listening to Christmas music....Next weekend we are getting our Christmas tree.. I'm sooooooo excited!

Well, I will probably be at my grandparents. They already bought a little tree. I don't really want anything this year...I get more joy out of buying people stuff. We will cook a big dinner...I can't wait!

This Christmas is going to be strange, because my grandparents have always had a huge Christmas party, but she died this year. So, lots of confusion and new traditions. We're going to have brunch and exchange presents on Christmas Day, and then we're having dinner out at my aunt and uncle's house. We'll probably get our tree in two weeks, because I'm having my annual tree decorating party on the 17th. Then again, it's more like my friends and I putting a few ornaments on, getting bored and having my mom rearrange everything because she's crazy like that. :)

Probably going on a short trip to an European city with my muslim friend who doesn't celebrate christmas anyway.... to get as far away from all that as possible. Been thinking about Paris, Dublin.. or anything...
My family's in Brazil so I don't see the point in celebrating this holiday.

I'm gonna have one of the best Christmases I've ever had. I hate Christmas as a rule, because over here it's summer and I get really tired of department stores playing wintery Christmas songs like 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland' and the commercialism. All my extended family live in Britain so for as long as I can remember my mum's had her friend's family over, which equals 11 people. The kids are all antisocial computer geeks and frankly, at Christmas there are a whole host of other things I'd rather talk about than LAN networks and Linux. But this year my dad is going to Scotland to see his folks in Dundee and because his flight is at 2pm on Christmas day so that means no big party and it'll just be me, mum, nice summery foods (no fucking turkey and ham) and copious quantities of wine. And some good CDs. One of about three times in my life I've looked forward to Christmas.
