It's great to hear that you guys are OK.

Hopefully Canadian inurance companies don't screw up their customers as much as they do here in the States.
They always say thy will give you complete coverage and when something happens they totally screw you over with new change of policies or just things that you were not able to read between the lines when you signed that contract.

Wow..deer suck. Kangaroos are no fun to hit either. If they don't die they tend to scratch your eyes out/thrash about.

So remember...badgers DON'T eat doughnuts.

They even charge everything against you. I own a 1995 ford crown victoria, the one that cops use. My insurance isn't that cheap, something like $87 a month. My car though has a 10-star safety rating, and for that I got a decent discount. But then again, I'm considered an unsafe driver statistically, being 18 years of age. And for that they pull out the discount. They are afraid that something can happen to me, and they charge me for my future stupidity, or in Burninator's case, unforseen events like that. Insurance people for me are in the same league as the IRS.

That must of been some scary experience.
I don't swim in your toilet, so don't pee in my pool!

Insurance companies are worse than the mob.

At least the mob steals your money when you go to a casino when you could easily control your gambling habits and simply decide not to throw your money away. Insurance companies simply take advantage at the fact that law requires that you must have a car insurance.

Like they haven't tortured us enough, we have to put up with watching those awfully dumb GEICO commercials on TV.

Damn you law!

Buying insurance is really like gambling..yeah. I don't know where that came from.

To quote the song by The Clash...

I fought the law, and the law won.

Must be your insurance company ... I have had four claims in 20 years (one accident - my fault, one accident - the semi's fault, one stupid deer, and an escaped rolling spare tire) and all were handled to my satisfaction. Of course, it is well known that insurance companies tend to price gouge an insurance rates.
