Shortly after the release of the original Greatest Hits (1981) I remember seeing the boys on the news in connection with some marijuana thing. Apparently they were caught with Drugs In Their Pocket. I can't remember the details but it is true. I'm sure they were given a slap on the wrist but at the time I was shocked that my idols were involved with weed! I do agree that for rock stars they seem pretty subdued (wild coke parties in the late 70's excluded).

To clear up the drug stroy, here goes.
BRIAN MAY = Has said he is too delicate to take drugs. His mental balance will be thrown off he also said. Brian is such the worrier that he would have a bad time on drugs. I've tried about all drugs and if you are worried or have a mentality of worry, you will have a hard time, especially the harder drugs like LSD, Cocaine, Tina, GHB, etc. You guys out there know what I'm talking about. The only drug Brian May is known to do is ALCOHOL.
JOHN DEACON - This man like to keep his privacy. He looks like the type who would drink alot to calm his nerves and sort through his emotions. Look at his face language during the last Queen period of 86-91. He just looks bothered by something. So again, ALCOHOL. He was at those Queen parties.
ROGER TAYLOR - The party animal for sure. Booze (look at his puffy cheeks), cigs, cocaine, vagina, prescription downers and uppers, The way to tell is by looking in those photos posted right here on Queenzone. The lips became the same as when you are sexually aroused when you do harder stimulants like coke, extasy, ghb, and tina. Just look at those old photos of Led Zep on stage.
