During God Save The Queen, Freddie gives the crown to Roger, Roger wears it and then just drop it. Then John wears it and the other members leave the stage. Look at John when he notice that he's the only one in the center of the stage... That's the weirdest run that I've ever seen.

2. board - an object, as in skateboard, blackboard

Some people really tend to see snatches, instants, moments captured in pics or on video, and also the most circumstantial statements or phrases as a reason to interprete outlandish things into.
Not everything they did had a special meaning or was highly important or to be taken literally:
Was Freddie schizophrenic, because he once said "Hi, my name is Kim Basinger" ?
Did Roger hate Freddie, because he commented the Nijinski-bit in IWTBF as "Arts with a capital F" ?(by the way, hilarious comment !)
And so on...
No offense here, just a thought - had to get that out of my system. Now just get on with it... :-)

It's probably because he didn't sing on that song so that's why he has a face like a smaked butt!
I always felt that he was probably told by the video directors to Stand Here! He knew he was in the shot, as opposed to other videos that are more candid shots, and he probably just felt uncomforable and shy being singled out in the spotlight next to Freddie. With those lyrics, it's not like it was appropriate to smile and dance around either. Plus, that white outfit...
