I just watched it tonight (as it is Sunday here). Patti came out, but also so did Lenny and Carl in a way. When Homer was trying to think of other gays he could marry, he thought aloud 'Lenny and Carl' and Marge said that that was for them to decide. So in all, three people came out on this episode.

I, the ultimate Simpsons fan, missed it!!! Does anyone know where I can download it, or if someone tapes the episodes I could try to work something out.

Please!

I'm certain Lenny has a wife. In fact I bet Lester's reputation on it!

Freddie: "Yes, we'll have a great big cock fly over the crowd!" Roadies: "Yeah! Great Idea!" Freddie: "And it will fly into a great big mouth with a moustache!"

According to the Mirror Newspaper, UK today, it's being shown on UK TV in May 2005. Stay glued to Sky One I guess!!! I love the Simpsons too and I missed the episode where they come to London.....damn!!
We all of us deeply apologise for this god forsaken shit heap of a building...but we will make it rock. Brian May Wembley Pavilion 11.05.05.

I think neo-cons are going to outburst, not exactly at the fact that the episode was based on gay marriage but because Lisa was the one who proposed making gay marriage legal in Springfield.

By the end of the season they always repeat the same episodes.

You could also download it from Kazaa.

The only thing that made me mad was that before they aired the episode, they said 'Parental discretion advised' If seeing two people get married because they love each other may taint the minds of children, then I don't want to think that this country I live in still has room to get worse. I'll stop here before I go on a giant rant.

Parental discresion advised?! Gimme a break. As if they havent had a million things far more deserving of a Parental Advisory (I am not saying that they should have them, just that if they need one for showing people getting married then they need them for a lot more). It is fine to show peoples asses and to show in bed as they are starting to have sex. But, show gay marriage and you better send the kiddies off too bed, you don't want them see those "disgusting homosexuals" esp if they are going to be treated like REAL PEOPLE!! How scandalous.

Doesn't surprise me to see the 'Viewer Discretion Advised' when in the past year (more particularly since the Janet Jackson incident) the whole indecency issue has become the worst witch hunt this country has ever seen since Senator's McCarthy's anti-communist crusade during the 50s.

The FCC has become not only an ultra conservative group fighting anything they consider indecent, but also an organization promoting Bush's "moral and religious" agenda targeting any kind of crticism against conservative America.

However the FCC is nothing but a group fed by a bunch of hypocrites from the 'Parents Television Council', who seem to find something wrong on a TV show that mocks American society without too explicit or graphic content, but when it comes to JAG and their American "kick-ass" right-wing agenda while showing foul language and graphic violence, and despite of that they give a show of such nature a 'Seal of Approval'.

Here's their review of 'The Simpsons'
