I am not honouring anymore requests for this song, due to me wanting some more free time for myself.
This has nothing to do with Mr. John S Stuart's war against me. I am making this decision on my own.
I would like to see at least SOME people buying the Jewels II CD from Japan. There ARE some slightly affordable copies out there online (depending on one's budget, and where one looks).
I will be uploading a sample teaser later today to try and get people interested in this CD.
Anyways, thought I'd let everyone know.

Yet another thread has opened in the "Queen" forum advertising even further free samples from "Queen Jewels II". What more does Dark want, a neon sign and a three page advert in the "Guardian"?
This sort of behaviour from a PUBLIC forum will NOT go un-noticed. (Please let's stop pretending otherwise). What is so hard to understand about that, and calling for a little bit of constraint and common sense? This is NOT a war. It is an APPEAL for universal calm before the sh*te hits the fan. Surely that is in everyone's best interests?
After all, breaking the law - is still breaking the law - however you wish to cut it, and no amount of justification will dig you out of that hole. Rather than viewing me as "the enemy" in actual fact, I have been trying to protect you, and stop you from making a complete tw*t of yourself, because "...a massive fraud like this plays into the hands of the RIAA..."

Alex Solan - at what point does a band become rich enough where it becomes ok to steal their recordings? You say that U2 etc are fair game, but presumably small bands are not. Where do you draw the line?
The answer is you can't. And therefore the loud and proud "I am stealing this" copyright theft going on here remains illegal.

The underlying point remains the same as it would be if anyone else did the same. I'd also refer you all to my first post on this subject, which is in no way abusive. In fact, I repeat the question. HAVE you asked Brian how he feels about you ripping him off?
Secondly, would Dark like to define "Stepford" for us? As I believe it's yet another word (see also humility, theft, irony, copyright, respect, manners) that he doesn't know the meaning of. If he is able to offer the correct definition, perhaps he could then explain how YV, JSS & myself pointing out that his activity is illegal falls within that definition? I guarantee he can't do that, because it's a complete non sequitir. In fact, he's just using it as (in his mind) the worst insult he could throw at us, irrespective of accuracy or relevance. Six months ago he'd have called us "ass-bandits" or some such, although whether this constitutes progress is not a debate I can be bothered to enter into.
Thirdly (and finally, I promise (at least in this post)), if he's so confident about this issue, why has he stopped, and edited the posts? "Need more free time"??????? DO ME A FAVOUR! If you have the mp3 on your system it takes a minute to type in the email addresses to send it to, 10 seconds to attach it, and 3 minutes to upload it, during which time you can browse the net in another window. So, let's have the truth, Dark. Why stop if you're convinced we're wrong about this?

1) Queenzone e-mail does not permit over 10MB for attachments
2) Even if I did what you suggested, I'd have another batch of requests to fulfill, hence the reason I uploaded it to 1 server and merely distributed the links
3) By "free time", I mean more time for me to do other better things online, instead of having to check my e-mail every 5 minutes (seriously, at the rate that's been going on!)
That's why I stopped responding to requests. My decision was not influenced at all by John S Stuart's "anti-piracy/Dark" war comments. If I had taken into thought completely what John had said (not saying that I didn't realize what I was doing was wrong - I did, but as you can see, I could care less, as it is the ONLY official download I will ever offer), I wouldn't have distributed the MP3/FLAC files at all.
I'm merely, by doing this, trying to get people interested in Queen's products, and also once the ADATR DVD-A comes out (this year?), if the mix is on there (which is likely, based on what Justin Shirley-Smith told me), people will definitely get the DVD-A for that then.
After all the responses I've gotten for this mix, in which there were only 1 or 2 complaints about the mix itself (both made on this board), I don't see why people won't buy the ADATR DVD-A for the track in 5.1 once it comes out.
Anyways, I'm not feeling well mentally, so I do not wish to write more at the moment, as even what I'm writing seems to be confusing me.
