Well, I just asked if any finnish people are going to Stockholm to see the gig. I suppose it wont interest anyone not from finland so why not take it in finnish?

I'm expecting the concert to be more or less a tribute act. :P I've heard material by both the Free and Bad Co, and I wasn't impressed by it.
I am going to see the musical, I just haven't deceded when... I happened to spot it on the lippupalvelu web page, and noticed some striking similarities between it and the WWRY show. :D I thought I'd go and see just how much of it has been copied. :P

Finnish Queen fans, I can't unfortunately travel to see Queen and Paul but I bet it must be fascinating.
By the way Finnish friends, the new Queen book written in Finnish is at the moment for example Helsingin, Tampereen ja Turun Akateemisessa Kirjakaupassa :))

Olen matkalla laivalla, Turku-Tukku-Turku ja keikan jälkeinen yö hotellissa. Koko hoidon hinnaksi ( sis. keikkaliput ja hotelli ja juna Jyväskylästä Turkuun ) tuli vähäsen päälle 200 euroa. Ei tosiaankaan paha hinta.
En tiedä, olenko menossa katsomaan sitä musikaalia, asun nimittäin junamatkan päässä ja jos se on ihan surkea niin sitten harmittaa. Mutta kertokaa ihmeessä jos se on katsomisen arvoinen niin saatan mennäkin. Lippupalvelun sivuilla oleva esittely ei vaan mielestäni tuntunut kovinkaan lupaavalta...no who knows
Keikalta odotan kaikkien Pohjolan Queen-fanien tapaamista ja mukavaa yhdessäoloa. Ja tietty hyvää musaa ( ehkä sitä kaikkein rock - orientoitunutta Queenia ) ja seuraavan aamun äänenkäheyttä. Ja yleistä fiilistelyä kaikkien samanhenkisten kanssa ja sitä, että voi nostaa kädet kattoon Radio Ga Gassa. Ja sitä, että ennen keikan alkua voi laulaa We Are the Championsia odottavien massojen kanssa....odotukseni ovat siis aika korkealla, mutta en usko, että tulen pettymään!!!
Tapaaminen vois olla ihan hyvä idea niin kun noin yleensä. Miten te kaikki muuta aiotte matkustaa Tukholmaan??
Miten voi liittyä Queen-faniklubiin Suomessa ja onko täällä joku oma kerhonsa?

Esimerkiksi Perfect Strangers Of Finland Psof (Deep Purple ja related fanikerho) on hyvä esimerkki fanikerhosta, joka on kansallinen ja pitää tiiviitä yhteyksiä yhtyeeseen (siis Purpleen, Whitesnakeen, Dioon jne.)
Olisin kiinnostunut.

Wow I love this language. Is it hard to learn ? I know it's not similar to the other Nordic languages but it must have something similar ???
Finnish is similar to Estonian and that's about it. It is totally different from any other Scandinavian language.
We don't have genders for words or persons (eg he, she, die, der, das) but we do have a word for living and non-living things (so we won't say "it" when we talk about a person). We also don't have prepositions but we add this to the end of the word. (table = pöytä, on the table = pöydällä). It's a very complex language and I've once heard it is considered just as hard to learn as Japanese.
Btw, I do agree this is a English speaking forum but I have seen several posts in Dutch, French, Spanish etc in the past so please don't jump on us if there is one post in Finnish :) The subject of the post should have been something like "For Finns only" so all the non-Finnish speakers won't have to bother and check what is there..
and now few words in our lovely language: Olen menossa Frankfurtin keikalle koska Tukholma ilmoitettiin niin myöhään, että olin ehtinyt jo ostaa lipun..
