Well they are all good bands (iv heard most of em) but none will be as good as Queen, the only and only!

Most of them aren't even in the same genre as Queen, and indie music hasn't the same lifespan as rock.
On a plus point my Kaiser Chiefs album came signed from amazon which was cool.

Queen and The Beatles are the two Most important and best bands ever...
In my opinion, Queen is much better... but c´mon you can´t forget to include fabs four in your list!

what annoys me nowadays about the music business is that, like a lot of the bands in your list, they have all appeared around the same few months, and are all so similar, yet everyone loves them? i don't understand it? theres nothing new? for example, the Kaiser Chiefs are merely Franz Ferdinand repackaged. very similar look, too smiliar a sound... its boring.

There are too few avts around now with any reall talent. to be honest, with that huge list you gave us, only a few on the newer bands i really rate. Maroon 5, i think, are a breath of fresh air, much like the Scissor Sisters. its just that little bit different enough. to me, the Foo Fighters are one the best rock bands around. they are one of the few acts who keep it going, and enjoy doing it, like the old days. same goes for Queens Of The Stone Age in my mind, even though Josh Homme went mad and fired the band. but, for me, its all about Muse. absolute, sheer class.
