I'm leaving saturday ... going to the musical on saturday night, meeting a friend who studies there on sunday (and clubbing afterwards) ... and monday it's beers at the mentioned pub, pick up tickets and get in as soon as possible
Have to get some sleep in advance, 'cause I have to be at Schiphol Airport at 6.30 (goddammit)

Having attended a gig at Brixton in the fairly recent past, I can highly recommend the car park near the Police Station (on eggy's map its location is that of the big 'P' in the box).
If I recall correctly, it has supervisors stationed at the entrance & exit, making it seem more secure than normal (whatever 'normal' is for Brixton, anyway).

The only worry I've got about the police station car park is the fact that the Academy website says it closes at 11:30.

Because of Curfews, I'd imagine the concert will end by 10:30-11:00pm. You should be fine.
